In November 2019, several training regarding disaster risk reduction and fire fighting and evacuation were organized by COERR Mae Sarieng and COERR Mae Sot. The objectives were to have community realize about how to participate in prevention of fire hazard and loss of lives and properties by using proper management system and equipment. COERR Mae Sarieng organized a training on November 15, 2019 for displaced persons in temporary shelters to learn about types of disasters and prevention, especially about fire prevention and fire fighting, theory of fire and nature of fire, and how to extinguish a fire at an initial stages, how to use and maintain fire extinguishers, how to use Incident Command System: ICS that combined a command, control and coordination to have the incident finish with less or no loss at all. There were 173 participants of 58 female and 115 male in Mae Lama Luang and 100 participants of 37 female and 63 male in Mae La Oon Temporary Shelter.
